Il pannello tattile di questo cartello rappresenta la posizione dello stesso sul lato nord della piazza. Toccando il piccolo cerchio siete nel punto in cui è collocato il cartello. Dietro di voi potete dirigervi verso la chiesa Parrocchiale, mentre andando avanti verso destra sentirete il rilievo maggiore che vi segnala dove è collocata la Torre del Vescovo.

La chiesa parrocchiale dedicata a Santa Maria Assunta, che chiude in modo scenografico e suggestivo la lunga piazza Vescovo Corna Pellegrini, fu costruita a partire dal 1782 dall'architetto Marchetti a cui subentro il Turbini; i lavori si protrassero fino al 1792.

Sul timpano della facciata la dedica a S. Costanzo, patrono del paese, e alla Madonna: ai lati sono poste le statue dei Santi Gerolamo e Costanzo.

Sul pannello tattile l’orientamento della chiesa è simbolicamente rappresentata da una croce, il braccio più lungo segue la navata principale.

La Villa Damioli oggi Galli, affianca la parrocchiale. E’ formata da un complesso di fabbricati e immersa nel verde di un grande parco oggi, in parte di proprietà comunale.

Gli altri rilievi rappresentano gli spazi urbani e le vie circostanti.

The sensory panel for this guide indicates its position on the north side of the square. By touching the small circle, you are in the same place as the guide. Behind you, you can go towards the Parish church, while if you move in a forward direction, you can feel the greater tactile relief indicating where the Bishop’s Tower is located. 

The Parish church dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta, which closes the long Piazza Vescovo Corna Pellegrini in a scenic and evocative way, was built from 1782 onwards by the architect Marchetti, who was succeeded by Turbini; work continued until 1792.

On the tympanum of the façade the dedication to S. Costanzo, patron saint of the town, and to the Virgin Mary: at the sides, there are statues of Saints Gerolamo and Costanzo.

The church’s direction is symbolically represented by a cross on the sensory panel, the longest bar follows the central nave.

Villa Damioli today Galli, flanks the parish villa. It is formed by a complex of buildings and immersed in the green of a large park today, partly, municipal property.

The other tactile reliefs indicate the urban areas and surrounding streets.
